The Prima Power PLATINO® Fiber 2-D laser cutting machine can be used to cut a variety of materials, including highly reflective metals such as aluminum, copper, and brass. It processes various thicknesses with efficiency and quality, the company states.
With zero setup time, the machine can change from cutting flat sheet metal to processing tubes and profiles. Suitable for a variety of applications, the unit is available for sheet size to 59.05 by 118.1 in. with laser power from 2,000 to 3,000 W.
The company manufactures 2-D and 3-D systems for laser sheet metal fabrication and drilling; servo-electric turret punch presses; punch/shear and punch/laser combination flexible manufacturing cells and systems; servo- electric press brakes and robotic press brakes; automated benders; and additional material handling and material management modules.
