Hobart Brothers Co. will showcase its filler metals for fabrication and manufacturing welding applications. The company will present live welding demos, and welding specialists will be available to answer questions and provide product advice to visitors.
Filler metals on display at the show include:
• MEGAFIL® seamless wires: Available in flux-cored and metal-cored varieties, these copper-coated wires feature a seamless design that resists moisture pickup to reduce the risk of hydrogen-induced cracking.
• Element™ low-manganese wires: These gas-shielded, flux-cored wires feature the lowest manganese levels of any similarly classified filler metal in the marketplace, according to the company, to help users maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
• MaxalMig 4943 aluminum filler metals: MaxalMig solid wires and MaxalTig cut lengths are formulated for applications with the same weld procedure specifications as 4043 and 4643 products, but they do not depend on base metal dilution to increase weld strength.
