Takumi USA offers the VC1052, a linear-guide vertical machining centre that includes a 15,000-RPM inline spindle with a BBT40 spindle taper. Designed for customers focusing on batch or production work, it offers XYZ travels of 41.7 by 20.5 by 24 in.
The machine features a FANUC 0i-MF control with 1-GB data server. Optional accessories include a 4th-axis rotary table, 32-toolholder conversion, and part probe and tool probe measurement systems.
The company has partnered with Renishaw to be the first CNC machine tool brand to offer the Renishaw Set and Inspect app for the FANUC control. The app allows anyone with a part probe to add inspection probing to their process. The software’s intuitive interface guides the user through the process of creating a probing cycle, automatically generates the required machine code for the probing cycle and sends it to the control.
