Mazak will offer live demonstrations of 19 machines for job shops, advanced machining, and high-production workflows at IMTS 2022.
The QT-Ez 8MY multitasking CNC turning centre with an 8-in. chuck and integral motor spindle handles a variety of materials, along with milling capability and Y-axis functionality for single-setup processing of diverse parts. It will be paired with a cobot to spotlight flexibility and productivity in unattended manufacturing.
The Integrex i-450H ST multitasking centere delivers the combined processing power of a turning centre and full-function machining centre, with a second turning spindle and a lower turret with optional rotary tool capabilities to minimize fixtures, tools, handling and non-cut time, the company states.
The company will showcase its Syncrex Swiss-style machine for high-volume production of small, precision-machined parts. Two optional features to help reduce setup times and improve part production—Mazak Swiss Set-up Assist and Mazak Dynamic Chip Control—will be highlighted.
The HCN-6800 NEO horizontal machining centre features upgrades to its spindle, table, and magazine, including a new standard 43-tool drum-type magazine that helps reduce tool exchange times. The Variaxis i-800 NEO machining centere features a powerful CNC, fast machining cycle times, expanded workpiece capacities, and numerous automation options.
