Grinding machine manufactures standard and special taps
ANCA has released the TapX, an automated machine for the mass production of standard and special taps.
The machine produces high-speed steel (HSS) taps, carbide taps, microtaps, and non-standard taps. It produces these different taps by combining a single grinding process, a parallel grinding process, and a combined grinding process all in one machine.
The system’s ToolRoom software enables numerous tap types, and sizes can be designed and manufactured in one setup.
It uses the company’s LinX motor technology for all linear axes and direct-drive technology for all rotary axes.
