Conceptual Innovations has released the HaloDrive, an omnidirectional motor-powered system that moves large, heavy items. The powered wheels have a maximum weight capacity of 50 tons and dimensions up to 250 ft. with accuracy within 0.5 mm in any direction.
The modular design allows for retrofitting carts and lifts to increase weight capacity and dimensions of equipment commonly used in manufacturing and maintenance of aircrafts, automobiles, boats and ships, heavy equipment, steel processing and transportation, trucks and trailers, trains and locomotives, and wind turbines.
