Italian Trade Commission offers free trip to attend Italian trade fair

The Italian Trade Commission is looking for representatives from Canadian manufacturing businesses to attend the BIMU 2022 trade show in Milan, Italy.

The Italian Trade Commission is looking for representatives from Canadian manufacturing businesses to attend BIMU 2022, a trade show held in Milan, Italy, from October 12 to 15, 2022.

The trade commission will cover the following travel expenses:

  • Round-trip airfare (economy or premium economy-class) to/from Milan, Italy
  • 4-star hotel accommodation for 3 nights (October 11 to 14)
  • Meals (breakfast, lunches at trade show lounge)
  • Transfers to and from the trade show venue
  • VIP passes to the show and business area and dedicated online B2B matching platform
  • Emergency COVID-19 medical, quarantine, and travel interruption insurance
  • Individual airport transfers in Italy are not included (shared shuttle bus service upon arrival in Italy may be provided based on arrival schedules)

With 450 exhibitors, 50,000 visitors (of which 28 per cent come from outside of Italy), BIMU is an important event for metalworking and manufacturing industry professionals to view technology from Italian builders and developers.

The technologies and products on display include metal cutting, metal forming, and additive machine tools; robots; digital manufacturing and automation systems; and enabling technologies.

The attendees will leave Canada on Monday, October 10, 2022 (afternoon/evening) and arrive in Milan on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 (morning). On Wednesday, October 12 and Thursday, October 13, attendees will visit the BIMU 2022 show. On Friday, October 14, the attendees will return to Canada.
