Schuler’s TwinServo technology includes active tilting compensation

In transfer presses, the gradual forming of parts usually results in tilting of the slide. According to Schuler, this is not the case with lines featuring its TwinServo technology. The widely spaced pressure points provide suitable conditions for off-center loads.
Since the underfloor drives are not mechanically coupled, an asymmetrical control can be used to counteract an inclined position. With possible skewing neutralized, the die clearance can be maintained to help increase the precision of formed parts.
