New president/CEO named at TRUMPF Inc.

TRUMPF has announced that Lutz Labisch will become president/CEO of TRUMPF Inc., Farmington, Conn., effective March 1, 2022. He will be responsible for production, sales, and service of the company’s machine tool and laser technology product portfolio in North America and for the strategy and business operations at U.S. subsidiaries. He also will oversee operations in Mexico, Canada, and Brazil.
Labisch has nearly 20 years of experience in the machine tool industry, including six years with TRUMPF in various finance and management positions. He holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and business administration from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany and studied as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Michigan.
