Aluminum-Oxide Depressed-Center Wheels

CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels, Niles, Ill., has introduced a new line of 0.25-in.-thick aluminum-oxide depressed-center wheels under the umbrella of its existing Ultra series of wheels.

These new wheels are produced from a premium grain and N-grade bond for consistent product quality. They also have the fastest stock removal rate of all of the company’s aluminum oxide depressed-center wheels, the company reports.

These wheels are available in a type 27 shape and in diameters of 4.5, 5, 6, 7, and 9 in. with 7/8 or 5/8-11 arbor holes. Typical applications for these wheels are weld grinding, railcar manufacturing, and shipbuilding.
