FABTECH 2014: Record-breaking Numbers of Exhibitors and Attendees

FABTECH®, North America’s largest annual metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event was held in November at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga. Co-sponsored by CIM’s educational affiliate, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association International (FMA), the show’s 1,477 exhibitors interacted with more than 30,250 attendees over three days.

Co-sponsors were SME, the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), the American Welding Society (AWS), and the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI). In addition to the newest technologies, the event featured briefings by high-level speakers, timely industry panel discussions, and a broad range of industry-specific educational programs. Manufacturers heard keynote presentations from senior executives at two FORTUNE 50® companies, Walmart and Google.

More FABTECH to Come

FABTECH Mexico will be held in Monterrey, Mexico, May 5-7, 2015. McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill., will again be the destination to attend FABTECH on Nov. 9-12, 2015.
