Delcam Adds Applications Engineers to North American Support Teams

(l to r): Chris Marion, Jean-Francois Landry, and Justin Ferguson have been added to Delcam’s North American support teams.

Delcam has added three applications engineers to its customer support teams in North America.

Chris Marion has joined the Windsor, Ont., support staff. Marion has more than 20 years of experience in machining and tooling design. He started as a machinist/CAM operator, programming small components and large molds. In addition, Marion spent two years as a designer of plastic injection molds and a similar period working in an EDM department as an electrode designer.

Jean-Francois Landry is joining the company’s Quebec office. During his 15-year career, Landry has held many positions, mostly in the aerospace sector. He started as a CNC machinist working on lathes, mills, and wire EDMs. He also has worked as a quality inspector.

Justin Ferguson joins the Pasadena, Calif., office. He started his career in CAD/CAM in 2007 as an applications engineer for an education reseller that sold design and manufacturing software, 3-D printers, and laser engravers. During this time he also attended Pasadena City College, studying general engineering. In 2010 Ferguson transferred to California Polytechnic University, Pomona. While studying there he worked in the prototype machine shop at Jet Propulsion Laboratory. For his final year Ferguson went back to school and graduated with a degree in manufacturing engineering.

“We are very lucky to have found three such talented, enthusiastic, and experienced individuals for our growing support network. The continued increase in our customer numbers has prompted us to add more people to ensure that we can provide those customers with the high-quality support they have come to expect. I am confident that Chris, Jean-Francois, and Justin will become valuable additions to our teams,” said Aaron Williford, post-sales support manager at Delcam North America.
