Waterjet cutting machine equipped with direct-drive pump
Spark & Co. with OMAX® Corp. offers the MAXIEM® 1530 waterjet cutting machine with a direct-drive pump.
The system’s Intelli-MAX® software suite allows shops to process 2-D and 3-D parts, minimizing scrap by using the close nesting of parts.
The waterjet also features a variable-frequency drive (VFD) that regulates electricity input, reduces power consumption at start-up, and controls output flow rate and pressure. The company’s Intelli-TRAX AbrasiveJet Linear Drive system has 1-micron resolution.
