OMAX shakes up management team

Mike Ruppenthal (general manager) and Steve Ulmer (vice-president of sales at OMAX in Kent, Wash.

OMAX Corporation, a Kent, Wash.-based abrasive waterjet systesm manufacturer, is making two changes to its management team.

Mike Ruppenthal has been promoted from vice-president of North American sales to OMAX’s General Manager. Steve Ulmer has been promoted from vice-president of international sales to vice-president of sales.

As OMAX’s mew general manager, Ruppenthal will oversee day-to-day operation of the OMAX organization.

As the new vice-president of sales, Ulmer will oversee all of OMAX’s sales divisions, both internationally and domestically.

These promotions come after Hypertherm and OMAX Corp. announced a merger earlier this year.
