Welding Machine Designed for Pipe Welding

The new Cross Country™ 300 engine-driven welding machine from Lincoln Electric is designed for cross-country or process piping welding.

According to the company, the small-footprint machine is excellent for root, fill, and cap passes and designed for cellulosic or low-hydrogen stick electrodes. Dual current controls are designed for pipeline welding. Dual sliding doors allow simple engine access for routine maintenance.

The unit supports DC SMAW, wire, and GTAW processes; connects to the manufacturer’s wire feeders; and includes an AC generator to power grinders, pumps, and travel trailers.

Featuring a 22-HP Kubota® water-cooled Tier 4 Final diesel engine, the machine produces 300 amps DC/32 V at 100 percent duty cycle and a range of 40 to 300 amps. It also produces 11,000 W of three-phase continuous and 10,000 W of single-phase continuous AC generator power.
