Abicor Binzel offers the TH6D seam tracking sensor. It records welding and brazing components and joints using laser lines and a camera, allowing the course of the welding seam to be corrected in real time.
Components and joints are recorded in-process. Contact-free and independent of both system and process, the method is suitable for all standard seam shapes and types of material.
The seam tracking sensor is designed for numerous applications in automated welding. According to the company, it features a sturdy design and smooth operation even very close to the process because of the integrated incident light filter. The high-performance signal evaluation helps ensure reliable seam guiding, especially on reflective surfaces.
