The cutter provides the greatest impact in applications requiring precision and reliability in roughing operations for such parts as the slewing rings for windmills, cranes, and other heavy equipment, as well as planetary gears, the company reports.

Two insert geometries are offered, one each for medium and heavy machining. Secure and stable insert seats also reduce runout and improve tool life.

This tool is available in diameters from 8.27 to 19.69 in.
