Modular Shrink-fit System
The SFS12 Modular ShrinkFIT adapters from Techniks have an internal drawbar design for improved holding power and faster tool changes, the company states.
Suitable for mold and die applications, these adapters are available for tool shanks between 1⁄8 and 1⁄2 in. and shanks 3 to 12 mm. They fit CAT 40 and 50, BT 30 and 40, and HSK 40E holders, and can be used with some other types of modular systems.
These adapters are made from H13 tool steel for compatibility with fast induction heat-shrink machines. This material also provides increased rigidity for extended tool life.
