Variaxis i-800, Variaxis i-600, and Integrex i- 400ST Machine Tools
Mazak Canada will demonstrate the company’s latest developments in multitasking, 5-axis, milling, turning, and CNC technologies.
Among the most advanced machines on display will be the Variaxis i-800, Variaxis i-600, and Integrex i- 400ST. These 5-axis and multitasking models now incorporate the company’s new Smooth Technology process performance platform.
The company also will showcase machines from its Universal series of CNC milling and turning machines.
The Quick Turn Universal (QTU) 350M turning center with multitasking capabilities has a servo-driven turret design that offers multiple tool configurations. The turret uses a roller gear cam drive system to achieve smooth, high-accuracy indexing motion as well as eliminate the need for curvic/index couplings.
Other Universal models on display will be the Vertical Center Universal (VCU) 500A 5X and VCU 500C machining centers.
