Featured at IMTS 2014: Robotic Blast System With Tool Changer

Guyson Corp. will demonstrate new tool-changing technology for robotic blasting systems. Automatic selection and changing between multiple straight blast nozzles and lance nozzles, based on the blasting process recipe for each component, extends the multitasking capabilities of the robotic blast machine and enables unattended operation of the surface preparation or shot peening system.

In executing the programmed blasting routine, the robotic blast system constantly maintains the correct nozzle standoff distance and surface speed, even as it follows the contours of complex-shaped parts.
