2-D Fiber Laser Cutting Machine Offers Automation Option
Mazak Optonics will display the Optiplex Nexus 3015 Fiber 2-D laser cutting machine for fabrication job shops and production environments at FABTECH Canada.
The laser cutting machine is designed to integrate intelligent setup and monitoring functions. According to the company, these features simplify operation and reduce operator dependency. The machine also has a large side access door and a flexible design. Manual pallet and automated two-pallet systems are both available.
It uses a helical rack-and-pinion positioning system and is equipped with the company’s new Preview 3 control with a 15-in. touchscreen. These lasers are available in 2-kW, 3-kW, and 4-kW configurations.
