High-pressure Pump

The Mitsubishi waterjet line from MC Machinery Systems is now available with a 125-HP, 90,000-PSI KMT pump. Increased cutting capability and waterjet pressure deliver twice the power of conventional 60,000-PSI waterjet systems, says the company.

The design of the high-pressure pump includes synchronized, dual top ends, which allow for constant jet pressure. One-head applications can run with a 0.15-in. diamond orifice for an increase of 40-60 percent over the 60-HP, 90,000-PSI waterjet system. The system’s software includes remote access and ability to network multiple pumps.
