A new spiral-bottom round-bowl finishing machine will make its debut.

Like other units in the company’s line, the SBB-24 has a full-circle baffle that keeps parts in the media mass constantly. The new model has a 24-cu.-ft. tub that can automatically separate parts from the abrasive media at predetermined intervals according to finishing requirements.

The tub can also serve as a through-feed or one-pass machine when the dam is held in the up position.

The spiral design’s uphill tub bottom provides a larger rolling mass right to the screen area. This allows larger parts to be lifted up the dam and over the screening area. Larger parts can be processed in the tub because of greater clearance between the screen and tub bottom.

This finishing machine has a 20-HP, 1,800-RPM motor; 17.5-in.-diameter tub cross section; diameter of 73 in.; and a machine height of 52 in.
