Lighter-duty Drag Conveyor

PRAB now offers a lighter-duty version of its drag conveyor technology that integrates under certain types of CNC machines for removal of chips at the source.

The conveyor has a lower profile than the company’s previous models to integrate easily under today’s machining centers. The drag conveyor features a grated end plate to allow metalworking fluid transferred from chips to exit the conveyor and collect in a liquidtight trough.

In addition to added reliability because of fewer moving parts, the drag conveyor offers zero carryover to improve productivity, the company states. The company can also engineer and manufacture custom conveyors.
