The center will host demonstration and application trial areas devoted to real-world applications and the company’s cutting tool technology. It will be designed to help educate customers, channel partners, and employees on the company’s existing products as well as Walter Multiply, a new brand of service designed to transfer technical knowledge to a number of industry sectors in order to increase productivity.
“This expansion not only represents the next step in our ongoing resolve to be the leader in cutting tool support in North America, it is a direct result of the success that we have had over the last several years,” said President and CEO Muff Tanriverdi.
The 40,000sq-ft. facility is slated to open officially in the fall of 2012.
