Komet Opens Canadian Office

In January Komet of America opened its new Canadian subsidiary, Komet of Canada Tooling Solutions ULC, and tooling industry veteran David Toomey was named president. 

Until that time Toomey had been serving as the general manager of Seco Tools Canada. Before that he held sales management positions at SGS Tools, Iscar, and Pillar Engineering.

Most recently the company hired Leah Conley as its Canadian office manager. Conley reports to Toomey and is based at the company’s Newmarket, Ont., headquarters. This location serves as the primary sales support facility and business office for Canadian customers. It is also used for open house events and end-user training seminars.
