Emuge Named N.A. Agent for Hohenstein

Emuge Corp., a manufacturer of cutting tools and workholding systems, is now the exclusive North American agent for The Hohenstein Company, a German manufacturer of clamping fixtures.

“By adding the specialized clamping fixtures from Hohenstein to our lines, we further demonstrate our commitment to our customers to fulfill their unique application requirements,” said Peter Matysiak, president of Emuge.

“The fixtures are a natural addition, as our precision workholding department specializes in customized solutions where accuracy and repeatability play a major role.”

Hohenstein will provide Emuge with plumbed pneumatic and hydraulic manifold base plates, which are used in conjunction with Emuge workholding and workholding nests,and Hohenstein will mount Emuge workholding systems to its tombstone and pallet devices.
