TRUMPF Canada Opens New Headquarters

TRUMPF Canada celebrated the grand opening of its new Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, Ont., with a two-day open house ceremony March 10 - 11.

The organization held a ribbon cutting ceremony and welcomed customers to the new 15,000-sq.-ft. facility.

The new headquarters gives the company more room for spare parts to shorten delivery times for its customers and more room to showcase its equipment. The company highlighted its new TruLaser 3030 fiber laser with the RotoLas tube cutting option, the first time this machine has been seen in North America. Punching, bending, marking, and portable power tools also were on display.

“This building is a testament to the success that we’ve had here in Canada,” said Peter Hoecklin, president and CEO of TRUMPF Inc. “By expanding we hope it shows our commitment to our customers for having more spare parts available and faster service response time.”

It also was announced that current Managing Director of TRUMPF Canada Stefan Schreiber is being promoted to director of international sales and will be returning to Germany. Stefan Fickenscher, formerly the company’s product manager for 2-D lasers, will now run the Canadian operation.
