Hypertherm Announces Educational Grant Recipients

Hypertherm, Hanover, N.H., a manufacturer of plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting systems, has announced the recipients of its 2015 Spark Something Great educational grant program, including two in Canada.

Each of the winning high schools, vocational schools, community colleges, colleges, and universities from throughout North America will receive a Powermax45 plasma cutting and gouging system, the company’s AWS SENSE-approved “Plasma Cutting Technology: Theory and Practice” curriculum kit, and in-person training from one of the company’s industrial cutting experts.

The grant recipients are;

  • Tennessee College of Applied Technology, Knoxville, Tenn.
  • Trades Training Initiative, Peace River, Alta.
  • Western Technical College, El Paso, Texas
