The Advanced Manufacturing Expo (AmExpo) has joined forces with the AmCon Design & Contract Manufacturing Expo to provide a new tradeshow for Canadian manufacturers. The new co-located event, which is presented by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), will take place Sept. 25 - 26 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont.
Canadian manufacturing professionals will be able to gain valuable knowledge and insight on leveraging their current supply chain and production capabilities at the event, and attendees will also be able to compare contract manufacturing opportunities to suit their needs and achieve maximum competitiveness.
"This partnership with SME's AmExpo is a prime example of a collaborative effort between two leading events that are dedicated to supporting the bigger picture for recovery in the North American manufacturing sector," said Diane Bourgeois, vice president of AmCon.
Approximately 150 exhibitors will showcase the latest in automation and robotics, contract manufacturing, design, CAD/CAM, rapid manufacturing, rapid prototyping, measurement, inspection, and assembly, new technology designed to improve productivity and processes.
"Canadian manufacturing professionals will have a unique opportunity to network with their peers, evaluate the latest technologies, and find advanced manufacturing solutions to further their business objectives," said Sanjay Prasad, AmExpo event lead for SME.
