Ellison Technologies, Mississauga, Ont., has hired a new service technician/applications trainer to be based in Alberta.
The new hire, Jason Holder, has more than 10 years of experience working with multiple CNC platforms, programming, and CAD/CAM software. He has knowledge of several major machine tool builders, applications experience, and machine maintenance training and service support experience.
“Bringing Jason onboard is part of our commitment to increase our support efforts in the Edmonton and surrounding areas,” said Robert Dunbar, vice president and general manager. “Jason, having worked the last decade in the Edmonton area, is well-respected for his ability to understand customers’ needs. He will be a great asset to the growing support network.”
Holder received an industrial heavy equipment technology diploma and a mechanical engineering diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton.
Holder also is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and of the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists (ASET).
He will provide service repair, setup, and training support to the company’s customer base.
