Akhurst to Represent Bystronic in Western Canada

Bystronic Inc., Elgin, Ill., has chosen a new distributor for western Canada with the addition of Akhurst Machinery Co.

Founded in 1938, Akhurst Machinery has grown to become one of the largest independent equipment distributors in Canada with offices located in western Canada.

Bystronic, a Switzerland-based company, is a manufacturer of laser and waterjet cutting machinery, press brakes, system software, and automated material handling systems for the processing of metal and other sheet materials. The company’s North American sales and service facilities are located in Toronto, and Elgin.
