Amada America Celebrates 40 Years

This year marks fabricating machine tool builder Amada America Inc.’s 40th year in North America.

The anniversary comes on the heels of Amada’s most recent investment to serve the manufacturing industry — the opening of the Amada Solution Center in Schaumburg, Ill.

Set on 10.5 acres, this high-tech campus features machine exhibits where users can experience the latest manufacturing trends, new applications, and emerging technologies. An example of this type of exhibit is the facility’s Laser Technical Center, where metal fabricators can see advanced laser technology, such as the company’s FOL-Fiber laser. The Schaumburg facility also regularly hosts industry leaders, who are invited to present seminars on cutting-edge topics.
