PRAB Buys Triple/S Dynamics

PRAB Inc., Kalamazoo, Mich., a manufacturer of custom-engineered material handling and chip and fluid management systems, has acquired Triple/S Dynamics Inc., Dallas, a manufacturer of horizontal motion conveying systems, screening and separation equipment, and distribution systems for the entire processing industry, including bulk handling, waste, and recycling applications.

Triple/S Dynamics is best known for the Slipstick® brand of horizontal motion conveyors.

In making the announcement, PRAB President and CEO Ned Thompson said that the two companies’ product lines complement one another and will enhance their position in the marketplace.

“It’s a win-win and we are extremely excited to have strengthened each other's capabilities,” said Thompson. “The companies are also an excellent fit based on shared corporate values and unrelenting commitment to innovation and product performance.”

According to Thompson, Jeff Sullivan, the current president and CEO of Triple/S, will continue in his role, and all Triple/S product lines will be represented by its network of independent sales offices.

The companies share similar markets, including automotive, aerospace, recycling, and wastewater treatment.
