Absolute Machine Tools Names New VP of AccuteX EDM

Pete Intihar has been promoted to vice president of AccuteX EDM, a division of Absolute Machine Tools, Lorain, Ohio.

Intihar promotes the company’s wire and sinker electrical discharge machines (EDMs) and TOP hole drilling EDM products. He is expected to expand national sales territories, handle customer support, and work with the EDM manufacturers in Taiwan.

He began his career in the machine tool business as a machinist for 16 years in the Cleveland area. He worked on many projects in both the defense and oil industry and used that experience to begin his machine tool sales career, selling wire and sinker EDM products for several manufacturers between 1997 and 2004. In 2004 he joined Absolute Machine Tools as field sales engineer, where he has been the top EDM salesman as well as selling Johnford, You Ji, Tongtai, and QuickTech chip-making machine tools.
