Maus USA Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., has signed an agreement with Hunter Automated Machinery Corp., Schaumburg, Ill., to represent the company’s line of grinding machines and related equipment to the foundry markets in Canada, the U.S., and Australia.
Hunter Automated Machinery, a supplier to the foundry market, pioneered automated matchplate molding machinery for green sand foundries. Today, through various affiliate licenses and representative agreements, Hunter also sells a line of automated matchplate molding, mold handling, core shooters, and sand testing equipment to foundries worldwide.
For Maus, Hunter provides sales and service representation, as well as performs grinding tests on castings and machine utilization studies for metal casters. Maus will continue to supply technical assistance, application engineering, and replacement parts support from its existing Virginia location.
“We see great potential in this agreement, as our machines will now be represented by a name known to foundries worldwide,” said Sandra Selwan, marketing manager for Maus in Italy.
