Mastercam Joins Partners in THINC

CNC Software/Mastercam, a CAD/CAM software supplier, has joined Partners in THINC and is the first such supplier to become a member.

The company sells software systems for designers and NC programmers for milling, turning, wire EDM, router programming, plasma cutting, laser cutting, and 3-D design and drafting. The company’s customers range from one-person job shops to large-scale manufacturers. The same software that corporations such as Boeing, IBM, and Sikorsky use also can be utilized by the small job shop.

Mastercam also makes its software available to educational institutions at discounts to ensure a new generation of trained metal- and woodworking personnel is available.
