This is the 5th Annual Canadian Welding Association CanWeld Conference and the first to also be held as an International Institute of Welding (IIW) Congress. The theme for this year is “Welding in the Arctic” focussed on products and services used in sub-zero work environments. Over the last number of decades, there has been tremendous amount of technical research and industrial developments to address issues and challenges when working in sub-zero temperatures. The welding industry is providing solutions to these challenges through creativity and innovation, and this conference will explore these solutions.
