Elliott Matsuura Celebrates 65 Years

Many things have changed since the early days in 1950, when B. Elliott (Canada) Ltd. opened its doors in Port Hope, Ont., and supplied manual machines to the Canadian industry. In 1988 Matsuura Japan purchased interest in Elliott Machinery, and in 1992 Elliott Matsuura Canada Inc. moved to a new 32,000-sq.-ft. facility in Oakville, Ont.

Today our company employs 75 people and represents four core products: Matsuura, Nakamura-Tome, +GF+ AgieCharmillesMikron, and Carl Zeiss. Other complementary lines include Brother, Cheto, Correa-Anayak, Hurco, Skoda, Tacchi, Tornos, YCM, as well as fabrication machines from LVD Strippit and Jet-Edge.

More than half of the Elliott staff holds technical support positions in product management, service, and applications engineering. This was something we decided to do 30 years ago to provide the best service and support in the industry.

To celebrate our 65th anniversary, we invite Canadian manufacturing companies to visit our Elliott facility or contact our regional sales managers to learn about the specials and promotions Elliott is holding throughout 2015.
